LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, NEVADA - Just in time for the launch of the busy travel season, Forever Resorts announced the debut of "Floatels" at Lake Mead's Echo Bay Marina. Representing an altogether unique accommodation experience for visitors eager to partake in lakeside recreation while enjoying all the comforts of home, Floatels offer the chance to enjoy the atmosphere of a houseboat while remaining securely docked.

Floatels are an ideal choice for families, multi-generational groups, gatherings of friends or couples seeking lake accommodations and an introduction to the houseboating experience. Vacationers can look forward to taking in the picturesque lake surroundings while aboard their 67-foot or 59-foot Deluxe Floatels at Echo Bay Marina. Each Floatel is climate controlled and includes a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and a sleeper sofa (sleeps 10-12), TV/DVD player, a top-level sun deck featuring a wet bar, barbecue grill and water slide off the aft deck. The larger model also features a grand-sized hot tub on the top deck.

With so many amenities onboard, introductory prices for Floatel rentals represent a tremendous value starting at $199 per night for the first four passengers aboard the 59-foot Deluxe model and $239 per night for the first four passengers aboard the 67-foot vessel. Additional passengers are $XX per person on each boat.
